Our Strategic Objectives: 2024 - 2028




Now that the ACCP is beyond its infancy and our Accreditation Framework has been developed and implemented, our next focus has been on establishing our strategic direction for the next 5 years to ensure that self-regulation for Australian Clinical Physiologists is sustainable.

Our strategic plan will ensure that self-regulation for Clinical Physiologists enhances your professional credibility and career prospects by recognising your adherence to the highest standards of excellence. We will ensure that you benefit from robust advocacy efforts, ensuring your interests are represented in healthcare policy discussions, and that you remain part of a supportive community that fosters collaboration and networking.

1. Enhance and Streamline Accreditation Processes

  • Continuously update accreditation criteria to reflect industry advancements.
  • Implement robust and transparent assessment processes.
2. Promote Public Awareness
  • Increase public understanding of the value of accreditation.
  • Ensure accessible information about accredited professionals.
3. Foster Collaboration and Advocacy
  • Strengthen relationships with government, educational institutions, and healthcare bodies.
  • Engage in advocacy to influence healthcare policies affecting Clinical Physiologists.
4. Ensure Organisational Excellence & Member Support
  • Implement best practices in governance, management, and operations.
  • Develop tailored programs and services to support members.
  • Create networking and mentorship opportunities.
