Voluntary accreditation with the Australian Council for Clinical Physiologists provides public recognition of pre-requisite to practice as a clinical physiologist within Australia. There are currently two levels of Clinical Physiologist accreditation within Australia
Gaining ACCP membership is the mechanism for you to obtain the status of an Accredited Clinical Physiologist. Grandfathering Terms:Initially there will be Temporary Grandfathering Process for established Clinical Physiologists. Successfully ‘Grandfathered in’ applicants shall be deemed ‘Level 2’ Accredited Clinical Physiologists will be added to the ACCP’s public register of Accredited Clinical Physiologists. Grandfathering Process is ongoing until further notice. ‘Grandfathering’ recognises established Clinical Physiologists and allows them to be ‘Grandfathered in’ as members, without the need to meet selected prospective requirements, such as minimum qualification prerequisites Established Clinical Physiologists; who meet all the following three (3) requirements:
